... my suggestion is to reduce the incidence of crimes committed against innocent third parties who are now being victimized by the pursuit of drugs, money to buy drugs and drug turf wars.

I do also think that society would be better off rehabilitating drug users (as we do with alcoholics) than trying to bomb them out of existence.
