Essentially, I agree with your mathematical conclusions, but I dislike the concept of "low-balling" bid levels and gouging people with excessive shipping to make up the difference. And, all the more so, as in this case, if the actual shipping is not even vaguely commensurate with the charges.

As I have said in other posts, if this guy had sent me a carefully protected package, I would not have neg'd him (though I probably would have posted a warning here anyway).
