One of the biggest changes in the last few years for Nevada collectors is the revising of the Chip Rack and the new Official Guide. The two reference works are very complete in their listings, fairly comparable in price guidelines, and fairly accurate in real world pricing. The positive is that these books are excellent reference works and contain information that, in the past, took years of individual data collecting. It's a little sad for me in that one of the "fun" aspects of the hobby was pitting my personal experience against the chip dealers and looking for bargains. Bargains are a lot harder to come by as most dealers have repriced their inventory with the new guides. While the Chip Rack is in its 7th printing, the last couple of editions have had their prices brought much more in line with actual prices (ie: higher.) Oh well...
