Pete; Probably for the same reason there aren't any chip shows in Atlantic City Casinos, Biloxi, or Colorado casinos. Plus, it's a lot of work and expense putting on a commercial show that has to be profitable for the promoter.... just ask Tom Pleau, Jim Munding, CT Rodgers, Bill Akeman, Howard & Kregg Herz to name just a few! Mel Jung was recently trying to organize a chip show in Lake Tahoe, but received little positive response.

You folks in Las Vegas are fortunate that the Club convention is held there annually. Most chippers accross the country would give their right arm to have a large International Convention held once a year, right in their back yard, so to speak.
