I couldn't agree more! But the punishment should fit the crime. I believe in the death penalty for people who take lives. I also believe that many people who have problems with addictions can be salvaged. I have known many people who abused substances, especially in the '60s, who are clean now and are good, productive people. I'm glad they weren't thrown away!
