It would seem to me that this dealer is attempting to sell these tokens to unsuspecting Casino memorbilia collectors, and very inexperienced Silver Strikers.
Also of note is that these silver strikes have no casino names on them, as I do remember seeing names on the 1 LB tokens I saw rotating in the Silver Strike Machine displays, and of those some had gold plating on them and some didn't.

Marv; If in fact this dealer is misrepresenting something that it is not.... he is definitely hurting the hobby. It would be interesting if the seller posted which casinos had these "no-name" 1/4 and 1/2 pound strikes. I have seen the one pound strikes with no name at Foxwoods, but I understand they no longer have silver strikes any more. The attractive one-pounder strikes from Foxwoods, did have the contrasting major designs on the strike in gold plate however.
