Well, I have to speak up, even if I take a battering. I view drug usage very harshly and believe that people have to be accountable for their behavior.

That being said, addictions of many kinds, alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling and many other things I could name are harmful to the addicts, and to society as a whole. But many addicts are not beyond help, and there are those who are effectively extending that help. I hope that we can all value those who have fallen, but have gotten up. Life then begins again with the first step.
