Of all people, you Gene should understand the value of proper marks made by proper people vs. forgeries. The chip shown here has marks put on it with a sharpie. If they were put there by the person pictured on the other side of the chip, I think I've got a valuable autograph. If you put them on, I think I've got a defaced chip. Of course, I watched them being applied. If I bought the CN chip from the gift shop, or from someone I trust who knows it came from the gift shop, I'd believe the gold marks were authentic. And all this controversy just makes them more valuable!
