The Chip Board Archive 03

Bailey's $1 RR is here. See the scan!

Today I received the Bailey $1 Native American RR. I commend Clyde and Toni for their organization and specification on the RR. It is clearly stipulated what is allowed and not allowed in the RR. Unfortunately, we are dealing with chips from Native American casinos, which have a tendency to always be worn, if not nicked, chipped or otherwise damaged. This set is in pretty good condition, I applaud the previous participants. If you click on the link below, it will whisk you away to a scan of the RR (in its present state, as an Incoming RR). Once I have made my selections, I will re-scan (as an Outgoing RR) and re-post a message on Greg’s Board.

Mark Menke, you are next on the list. If you wish to be surprised then don’t click the link below. For those that do, you will see two, light blue chips from Tulalip. At first blush, they are the same, only one is more worn that the other, perhaps even faded. However, both are different. The older looking one is likely a newer chip, as under a black light there is a large H&C symbol. While the newer looking chip has the older, tiny H&C symbol. Additionally, the older looking one is a regular H&C mold, while the newer one is a long H&C mold. Others may call these variants, but to my collection they are two different chips and they will not be passed along to Mark. Sorry! <g>

Clyde and Toni (and intervening participants), I like this mixture and hope I have enough traders to take what I want. At first blush, there are 18 that I do not have. Thanks for the challenge. (Also, at least two other participants left "gifts" for Clyde and Toni, I will too.)

If you would like to handle your In and Out RR actions this way, please feel free to contact me about available image-hosting space.

Thanks, Jim Follis
