I was an earlier participant in this RR. I was surprised at: 1) The quality of some of the chips in the RR, and 2) The lack of a log sheet to show what chips were added and taken by whom.
When I have run RR's in the past, I insisted on the log. In one case the RR was for obsolete $1 chips. One participant "forgot" about the obsolete part of the RR and put in current chips. With the log I was able to track down who did this and get it corrected. In this case the mistake was made innocently and the individual was truly sorry. There are some individuals that I will not include in any future RR's that I run because they put low quality chips into the RR. I could only tell who the culprits were by using the log.
Unfortunately, without the log, some individuals saw the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. I log is absolutely necessary.
