Jim,

I, as a new member-less than a year, have a question for you. Didn't the membership vote the five individuals into office to make decisions for the membership? I may very well be mistaken but I think there are better ways to spend the day than some of the people posting on this board. Do you honestly think that club officers posting here or even on the club site will be seen by the full membership?
At times I am reluctant to direct possible members to the BB's. These boards may scare off some members from time to time. I don't personally think that is a major problem but I also don't think that not requiring all chapter members to first join the national is that big a problem either.
Honestly I think allowing more people into the local chapters may draw more members into the national club than people getting on here and constantly #####ing about everything.
No threats, no complaining here just my honest opinion. Please forgive the language.

BTW I think the matter of spending large amounts of money to purchase manufacture records is more of an issue that this is.
