Albert & All, I belong to a national organization that has 40 plus "chapters" with each having their own dues, newsletter & journal. Once a year I am given the opportunity to renew or drop my membership in the chapters, but remain a member of the national organization. Each chapter has it's own benefits, rules & membership qualifications. I also belong to a state & county organization, with a similar, but smaller, setup. I also belong to a national register organization, with it's own seperate set of rules & membership qualifications. It sounds like a nightmare but it's great! I get journals every month, book discounts, travel perks & insurance. The brochures I get on a daily basis, announcing conferences, is staggering! One that conflicted with the CC>CC convention was entitled, "Trichotillomania, Fugue States, Frotteurism: How to Profit from the Bull Market." It was a tough call, but as you saw, I opted for Las Vegas in July! You have to set priorities when you have so many choices. You should see what I'm going to miss if I show up in Biloxi in November!!!!
