It's that time of the year again.........

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

Some are saying YES! Others are saying.......not again! For those saying not again just remember that all Contest posts will be under the subject heading of "Chippers Pro Football Contest!" so you can just pass this thread by. For the ones saying YES, remember to place not only Contest, but Football posts under this subject heading. I'll start a new post each Monday for the current week. I'll also be giving the Chipper with the worst record each half a poster showing all the Super Bowl tickets from the 1st Super Bowl all the way up to last years Super Bowl. These are nice posters & look great framed.

I will take the first 30 Chippers to E-MAIL me ONLY.

Along with myself that will make up the 31 Chippers in the Contest. PLEASE do not post a reply to this thread saying you want in because I will not count that as an entry. When you do E-MAIL me please use the subject header above "2nd Annual Chippers Pro Football Contest!" for your E-MAIL subject header & include your address in label form as I will be cutting it out of your E-MAIL to send you the Sports Journal pictured below. Everyone in the Contest will get one & it's a good way to keep track of not only the Pro Football schedule, but the College games as well. It also has a place for notes & includes other Football related information.

The rules are below........

Each person is putting up 2 $5 chips. They can be from anywhere, but MUST be chips in fairly good shape AND chips that are or were used in a CASINO! The Contest will be in two parts. The first half of the season (after your team has played their FIRST 8 games) & then the second half (after your team has played their LAST 8 games). This way one person does not get stuck with the same dog for the entire season! Whoever has the team with the best record at the end of the first half of the season will get 20 chips & the person who has the team with the second best record in the first half of the season gets 9 chips. The same thing for the second half of the season. Do NOT send me any chips. Once we have winners I will E-Mail their address to the Chippers having to send chips & then they will send the chips directly to the winners of each half. I'll redraw for the second half of the season. Tie breakers will be most points scored, followed by points given up.

I'll be posting the 31 Chippers who get in the Contest along with the team they draw for the 1st half next Saturday afternoon.
