I think you missed some things Jim. We were the first chapter.

The bylaws concerning chapters may or may not have been written before our chapter formed, I don't know. Given that the national BOD (at that time) might be inclined to set up a chapter structure along the lines of a union contract, the requirement to be a member of both fits like a glove.

This is a club of people with common interests, not a union blindly fighting for more funds to keep the organizers sitting in soft city. ....or at least it shoudn't be!
