But the hits don't indicate WHO the "hitters" are. You don't know, I don't know. I do think that the club message board may be getting some hits from some individuals who are not even aware of Greg's bb.
As an example; In addition to the membership applications that are distributed all over the country, including the club's Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Brenda and I handed out over 200 club applications during the Chicago ANA convention a couple of weeks ago. These were not applications that were simply laying on an unattended literature table for convention-goers to help themselves to. These were applications that were individually handed out to visitors to the club booth on the midway who expressed an interest in the hobby in general and the club in particular. (I have no idea how many applications were retuned to the club membership officer with a dues check after the convention was over). My point is that these club brochures do not have thechipboard.com printed on them. They have the CLUB WEBSITE ADDRESS (CCGTCC.com) printed on them. It is these potential new members that the club message board may be reaching. I don't understand the reluctance on the part of those who resort to what amounts to bean-counters..... that is; post only where the numbers are. I'll ask again...., What harm is done by posting on both boards? Personally, I don't see any downside. But then, I guess I don't think like many others do.
