It's refreshing to see so many aptly qualified club members who are genuinely interested in serving the club by announcing their candidacy for office.

While the club has been fortunate over the past 12 years of having some dedicated members serve as club officers, for too many years some of these elected positions went uncontested. The membership currently has several choices to make from the field of announced candidates .... and possibly even some yet un-named additional candidates may declare after the 4th quarter of the club magazine is released with the Official Call For Nominations Notice.

I would urge all members to closely study the candidates platforms and position statements and vote for the person who best represents your particular points of view as to which direction YOU would like to see the club headed in the beginning of the next century. Good luck to all!
