I don't insure my chip shipments because 1) Don't have time to stand in the lines at the post office, 2) will replace any chip(s) someone claims not to have received or offer a full refund, 3) the only chips I've had "lost" in the mail were the ones I've insured. If an order is sufficiently large or the chip(s) are irreplacable, I'll ship UPS. I can track their delivery trail on the UPS website. Also, using bubble packs and wide cellophane tape completely around the envelop makes sure the address label stays on the envelop and the envelop can't be easily torn.
