No offense Robert, but I'm pretty lukewarm on the idea personally, as I understand it.
I don't carry TCR #'s of wanted chips in my head. Instead, I shop by name & description. I'm also interested in areas where there's not a TCR or Black's, etc. numbering system in place, or where a chip is newer than the latest revision. For me, the scanned image i sMOST important in visualizing the chip and getting some idea of its condition. Listings without images is just a step backward to the type-only mail listings. Maybe my priorities are just different, but doesn't sound compelling to me, as described.
