I insure $7 chip packages on $5 chips, there is no option specified, I pay for it. Carl doesn't know if the chip was in the destroyed package because someone was too cheap to insure it. Was the cheapster Carl, or was it Dean? This was a face-value $25 chip bought and paid for, for several hundred dollars. Carl didn't get the chip. Dean got the money. Dean should have insured it himself to protect himself. ....and to protect a future customer!

...not to mention alienating a bunch of other customers...
