Was curious if I could improve the appearance of a couple of veteran yellow $1 Harrah's brass core chips so I put a two into a RCBS firearm cartridge case vibrator and gave 'em a ride. Danged if I can recall what the media of the vibrator process is but the beads have a type of polish coating and turn powder burned .45 acp shells into bright, shiny brass. After the Harrah's pocket weights got their jollies I examined them. No improvement, the brass and plastic were kind of coated with the polish to no beneficial effect. Going to get out the goggles, rhino gloves, face shield, and half-face respirator and try sodium hydroxide, methenol or maybe some benzaldehyde. Please stay on the other side of the barricade tape.
