Larry -- you use the phrase "preservation of records" as if there was going to be a widespread destruction of records unless the club steps up and buys them. What is the basis of this? I have seen no indication that this destruction is being contemplated. It seems to me, that rather that destroy any records, chip manufacturing companies would gladly take a tax write-off for donating them to this club. Unless, of course, after reading all this talk of spending thousands for them, they decide they can make more selling them to us.
