I agree the way the show has been arranged, with the dealers footing the entire bill for the convention, the convention has been focused on the dealers rather than the members. That's why I believe we need to start charging a convention fee so we collectors can pay some of the expenses so things don't need to be focused so much on the dealers' bourse. Also I realize dealers are members too and the lines are pretty blurry in our hobby since practically everyone that is a dealer does it as a hobby rather than a way of making a living. I'm using the term "dealers" just to mean the folks that rent tables at the convention. We might even want to look at lowering the price for dealers' tables if we all kick in a registration fee. I may be wrong but I imagine many dealers lose money on the convention if you figure in their table fees, airfare and hotel bills.
