Jim; I have a question. What would be the respective roles of the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Officer of CCGTCC under your proposal to introduce a paid Executive Officer? Or, better yet, what would the daily paid Executive Officer do every day that the current slate of officers could not/would not do?

I would hope that you are not comparing our small organization to the boards of the American Cancer Society and Chamber of Commerce organizations you've mentioned that you sit on. I've personally witnessed the destruction of two volunteer organizations as a result of petty jealousies among former volunteers when one gets paid and others (who did just as much work) do not.
