Chuck; You've offered a very valid legal explanation as to why keeping the club's name as it presently stands makes a lot of good common horse-sense.
Another valid reason is that the club's present name has put our organization in good stead with the well respected numismatic community. I don't believe that we would be as accepted in numismatic circles as the "Casino Collectibles Club" ... which has been suggested many times in the past. Now to some readers of this bb, that may, or may not be important. I personally believe that our name is immensely important and gives our organization as much recognition and validity as other prestigious organizations under the numismatic umbrella.
There is nothing alien to other specialty groups of collectors within the entire diversified range of the casino collectibles scope to form their own chapters or sub-chapters, or to go it alone; but to tamper with the national organization's name at this point in our growth would be self-defeating in my opinion.
