In a recent article I read that the manager of harrah's Laughlin had 300 (or maybe it was 3000) of the award winning "but it's a dry heat" snappers printed. This term seemed strange, but then are chips "struck"? Minted? whapped? Is there a term for chip production similar to coin minting? My favorite concerns Umayyed coins in which someone said: Although so and so had many silver coins, he had only uttered one in gold. If you can coin a phrase, why not find a good phrase for your coin or chip strikes? <grin>.
