I do not have the whole story on the chip. I also have the $25. I think Archie also has a $25. I got the $1,000 from a cocktail waitress who got it for a tip. Henry Garrett says they were made for a George Raft movie. He has seen several low denominations but does not have any. Michael Knapp thinks it was made for Godfather III.
If you peel the sticker the chip was originaly made for a casino in Equador that never opened.
The last Ewing mold chips were made in the early 60's.

This is the only $1,000 I have ever seen, and I checked with all the collectors I could find up to a couple years ago. No one had ever seen it.
