I appreciate the input from you all. David, you make a very good point. If members get involved we can put on a larger show. We don't have that kind of membership though. Not for the most part.
Think about it this way. With all the begging I did for volunteers to help with this year's show, we had 17 people say they'd help (including the Auction group and our two pages.) Add that number to the 20 Committee Chairs who worked to get things done before the show. Add the panelists and participants of the seminars. (11) There were about 5 people who worked behind the scenes doing really odd jobs. Then add Wayne and me. That should come out to 55. In a club the size of ours, 55 people put on a show of the magnitude of the one we just had.
I'm not about to ask any one of those volunteers to take on additional duties. If I do, we'll lose them too. They're stretched as far as they can be stretched.
