Great idea. But where are we going to get the people to donate their time to put the seminars together? You know how much work Michael and Dick put into just one seminar.

Back on my soapbox. There are very few people who will donate their time to help the club but everyone wants more and more. We either get more volunteers to work on these projects or everything is going to stay where it is.

I was talking with someone (can't remember who) the other night who has been around a lot longer than I have. The point they made was that the Convention size has increased almost 40% in just 4 years. There are probably the same number of people, most of them the same ones, putting the Convention functions together today as there was 4 years ago.

In the last 2 days it has been suggested that we add a BJ tournament, a craps tournament, more trading sessions, an extra day to the Convention, more educational seminars, a speaker at the reception, and a second show sometime during the year. Yet not one person has volunteered to step up and donate even a few hours.

This post is not aimed at you. Everyone has to realize that we need more people if the Club activities are going to increase.
