I use HP Scanjet 5200C. I used to copy my scan to Microsoft Photo editor, crop and save it. What I then uploaded was always a little fuzzy.

Now, after I scan it, I crop it right on the canning screen and save it. I then upload. Without transferring it first to another program but saving directly from the scan program has produced the results below.
