This year was my first year to attend the CC & GTCC convention, which was excelent - had a great time.. I've never been to the Orleans, but I've seen all the Hotel / Casino's on the strip numerous times. I always stay on the strip, if the convention is at the Orleans I'm sure I'll still go, but I'm also sure I won't be staying there for my vacation. Just like to walk and it's much easier when you can just step out the door, and your on the strip.

Now as far as the dates, if it's around memorial it would just become a long weekend for myself. If there's 112 degrees in vegas. I'll take that as well, beats 90 degrees with 110% humidity in Indiana. :)

Obviously my vote is for trop or other strip local.
