I had a great time at both the Orleans and the Trop. I think the following are valid considerations:

- Increased walk ins and visibility on the strip clearly helps grow the club.

- The Trop's dates fall at the end of the Memorial Day week. That may make it hard on Club officials who need to arrive early. It may also make it more difficult to get early arriving volunteers (who should be called Convention Staff - just an opinion).

They would have to forego part of their hoilday weekend with family to get there early, air travel reservations would be somewhat more difficult, and probably a more expensive as well.

I think the dates could be a problem at the Trop.

- There is a lot to be said for the Orleans' cocktail waitresses and their uniforms.....from what I've been told.

Though the facilities at the Orleans are newer and nicer I would have to give the nod to the Trop, but would find it quite understandable if it stays the Orleans due to the dates.
