Steve-
This idea has been discussed. I'm not taking sides either way but the concern was taking traffic off the bourse floor during show hours. It certainly is easy to setup a room that has tables that could be open any and all hours. The question that has to be asked is it fair to the dealers who pay for table space?
The other concern is abuse by individuals who basically setup a dealer table in a room such as this. It happpened (I'm told) at the Wednesday reception. I know I had to ask at least a dozen individuals to take their trading off the showfloor when they were sitting in a corner with maybe a half a dozen binders spread out. Unfortunately we don't have the volunteers who can man the room to make sure there are no abuses.
I guess the bottom line is a don't know the right answer, but these are the concerns that have to be addressed. Thanks.
