You are RIGHT! It was a parody. Glad you finally realized that. And, It WAS deliberate. An outstanding member (Janice) of the group was put in a bad light by way of 2nd hand GOSSIP. Someone needed to speak out... I did. And I'll do it again.

And in spite of the 'time' dedicated by ANYONE in the hobby.... It doesn't give them a FREE PASS to spread GOSSIP. What's your point? A person who hasn't robbed a bank for over 50 years has a Free Pass to go rob one because he's been so 'good' for 50 years? Your comparison isn't logical.

Anyway, I remember a post about 6 months ago by these folks saying that they were LEAVING the hobby. Seems funny to me that someone who has 'left the hobby' would have so much concern about the Convention unless they had a different agenda. Just wondering?!?!?!

Janice had a great point in her posting. I, too would like to know who the "fellow collector" is who helped spread the GOSSIP, IF there really is a third person. All truths don't need to be spoken (OR posted). Posting of the name would add to my private list of "Fellow Collectors" who can't be TRUSTED and spoken to in confidence.

But I doubt we'll see the name posted, do you?
