I don't object to a fee, but Travis just touched on one of my sore points . . . the spouse and kids thing.

As a single person with no kids, I keep wondering why someone's marital status or familial relationship should lead to a reduced fee.

(as for kids I don't object to a smaller fee or no fee based on age in a context liek this one where kids don't really use the resources of the event)

That is why I am PRO MARRIAGE TAX, I feel it evens things up a bit.
