Also, Charles' question did not seem to be limited to eBay, though everyone seems to have assumed that it was.
One of the purposes of my role as Claims Director is to resolve disputes involving activities which might find their way onto Charles' list. Once the club board decides on a claim resolution, the results are made public. I see no harm in compiling such information in a site such as Charles has suggested. I also see no reason why any such list should be limited to club claims.
In fact, the idea is a rather logical extension of the informal "policing" process which has been taking place with respect to eBay auctions.
I have said before and repeat here: HONEST sellers (and buyers) have no fear of reasonable and objective public scrutiny of their activities. I am confident that Charles would handle his list responsibly. And to the benefit of anyone who is warned off of a transaction with one of the "bad guys". ----- jim o\-S
