Wayne, I agree with a registration fee. Having attended or coordinated seminars, conferences or conventions numbering more than my age, this is the only one that I've attended that does not have a registration fee. The fee could be used to offset the cost of badges, mailings, awards, rooms and meals for the convention organizers, and a host of other incidentals. Also like the idea of a ticketed reception. Really don't think it is fair to those that can't make the reception but do attend the convention and those members who can't make the convention at all to have the reception paid for by the Club.
