Some sellers say something to the effect of "Buyer to pay actual shipping charges." After the auction is over, the seller requires priority mail, insurance and confirmation on a low value item. As the buyer, you request regular mail, no confirmation, no insurance. Then what do you do? If you are buying an item where the shipping costs more than the item, would you agree it is excessive?
Stuff does happen and no one is perfect. I am talking about the seller who routinely waits 3 or more weeks to ship after receiving payment. I can't see any reason for that. I once had a seller who took a long time to ship. After a couple of weeks I emailed him. He told me that he never ships anything in December, too much stuff gets lost in the mail. Fine. But then why is he running auctions in December and why didn't he mention it earlier.
