I've been granted permission by the ANA to reprint
Day's Casino Chips of Monte-Carlo. The publication
is out of print. My suggestion to our club magazine
editor was to send the 32-page book (actually
16-pages 8x11) to be shot and printed in a future
edition of our magazine. Our last (current) magazine
is only 40-pages; it's usually approx. 100-pages.
The book has over 100 photos of chips, jetons,
plaques and tokens (with full descriptions) used in the Monaco casinos
through the years, and information within was
compiled by some of the most knowledgable
International collectors known. I've suggested this
reprinting becauee of the size of our club and
comnsider this valuable information that will always
be available and not lost...especially because of
all the Monaco questions that are asked (ID) on
these BBS of ours. Does anyone feel that the
reprinting of this book will be a waste of time,
effort, space and of very little interest to our
membership? If so, please inform us. This will cost us virtually NOTHING.
Thanks,
