My favorite boxer is Michael Spinks. I was in St. Louis for a pool tournament in the late 80's. Me and three friends (Andy, if you're reading, Scotty Smith and Charlie Shootman were two of them) went to a little jazz club at The Landing, a boozy-boutiquie area of St. Louis close to the arch. We weren't there for more than a few minutes when Michael Spinks and a couple body guards sat down at the table right next to us! He was very approachable, talked to us for quite a while. A classy guy, and a nice one too!

Mike Tyson is a totally different animal. He was in the pressroom at the Las Vegas Speedway last April. .....it was as close to talking to a live cartoon as I've ever come!
