I had to call an 800 number for the Postal Service and explain the problem to a customer service rep. They then transfered me to the postamaster of my local post office. My problem has been a different postal carrier a day. One day I got mail at my house for 6 different addresses. I never got a follow up call but things went back to normal immediately. Mail arriving late is common since some carriers cover more than 1 route.
