Big money projects would almost have to be written into the club constitution, either as a change to the constitution (requiring a vote of the entire membership) or a change in the bylaws (which could be inacted by the BOD as I read the constitution.) The latter possibility would leave a lot of people out of the loop IF a BOD had a specific agenda to make changes by decree. I don't want to see that happen!
