John; Not trying to "twist this one around" at all. Let me see if I can try another avenue for discussion purposes. If someone wants the information bad enough, evidently they seem to be more than willing to pay for it. Hasn't that been the advice given on this bb many times in the past with respect to purchasing books by authors instead of constantly asking questions? ("why would you rather see a club member have to pay $5 or send 2 chips for a single ID?" ... JB) John; It is not my intention to rehash the Grading subject ... but you and I both know the simple fact is that many people send their coins in to a private service and pay a fee for someone else's opinion or knowledge at a cost of a hell of a lot more than $5 per coin. So for those club members who are interested in molds and such, I don't think it is extraordinary to pay someone to research their questions they may have about a particular mold or illegal chip. To say that any club member not interested in such things should not be a club member would result in wholesale defections by club members whose only interest in this hobby is limited editions.
May I be so bold as to ask; "Who is this mysterious anonymous person who now wants to sell these records to the highest bidder?"
