While at the Colorado Belle this past week (getting my clock cleaned at the poker table I might add!), I came across this chip which is missing a red insert. I'm not sure of the manufacturing process, however it appears as though red dye (paint?) was not applied. The white portion is in no way marred, deformed, or anything; just missing the red on both sides and the edge.
Does this happen often? Does this change the collector value of the chip (up or down)? Sorry for size, but I wanted detail.
