It seems at great idea !! Like some others told in this thread, it needs to be in a place where lots of visitors can come and visit.
I know not much about Vegas but do know they have 30 million + visitors a year !
Yes we need some sponsoring of some sort to get it started and keep ot running (running costs should be paid for by the visitors...)
And YES I would be interested to rent a room for a display of European material, I can even pursuade other european collectors to 'loan' part of their collection.
So Jim it is NOT a crazy idea or dream. Lets ALL get together and make it happen. If a group of members who are in favour of this idea each put $5.000 or so together it would start moving ?!? Or am I DREAMING now......????
(40 members @ 5.000 makes 200.000...)
Just my opinion of it (I know I am not a longtime member, but after what I just experienced at the convention after collectiong for 27 years on my own it allmost blew my mind)
