Do the math with the numbers Gene posted, Archie....and you'll be able to answer the question yourself. Also, look at the full page ad in the club magazine offering the Mason records (cards) and X that figure with just 20% of the total card inventory that was available in that deal. I bet there are at least 5 people reading this thread right now who would gladly pay (today) what those records sold for (yesterday). I bet there are at least 5 people who would pay a hefty premium over the Mason records for B.C. Wills (Sm-Key) paper or records showing the who, where and when for Arodie molds. So, the $5 or $10 increase in dues will never cut it if the club had to bid against some others for this material.
