I think you would make a fine Secretary for the Club and I support you.

However, IMHO I think that there are many qualified members that could do I great job as officers in our Club as volunteers. There are probably not enough Club activities to keep a full time time employee busy. Remember there are a lot of members who are very passionate about this hobby who are motivated to make this Club successful.

I also agree with you that Club could raise additional funds, I feel the dealers have the biggest burden of supporting the club through table fees. I think there are a lot of options that need to be explored. I would look outside the membership first, like generating ad revenues from casinos and chip manufacturers.
