Mike,
Take a look at your post which I responded to. You asked Mr. Knapp the following questions.
"How can you say what the sellers intentions are without talking to him, to see if he shares the same knowledge as you do?"
I answered that question.
"If you have NOT spoken to him, or if you do not have other direct knowledge of his mindset when composing his auction description, labeling him a deceptive (implication: aggregiously unethical) seller is rather harsh, don't you think?"
I answered that question
Now you've changed the issue to whether the Seller should be given an opportunity to address the issue and you suppose that I would deny him or her that opportunity.
Did I call for any action to be taken against the Seller? NO! I certainly wouldn't want any action to be taken against him by Ebay, the club if he is a member, or by the law without his having the oppurtunity to present a defense, but I do not think we are preclude from discussion of the auction or the issue.
I suppose you have never discussed another person without inviting them to the conversation? I would ask who you intend to vote for in the next presidential election but I guess you would insist that all the candidates be emailed first before we could discuss it.
"Seems like you're set on disagreeing with everything I say, no matter how far out on a limb you have to go to do so."
I haven't been out on a limb yet. And I can't remember but I think we actually agreed on something once.
