Here they are the 8 I have left (one member already wrote & said save
me one). This one is copied so you can see the reverse. Doesn't show a
denomination just like the old Flamingo's of the era. All are slightly
cleaned, oiled & scannned as well as possible. I think they actually
look better though in person. Especially the first 4 as they have all the gold
in the hot stamp, or a rather gold coloring. Others have gold but it has
tarnished, all have all the printing in the lines though. These things
really stood up! We need to get $300 ea. & you get your pick so if
interested email quickly & tell me what number you like.
The last one #8, has a hairline crack on the back, not through, & only found when cleaning it. Will take $100 for it.
Guarantee: There were only 20, exactly! Four of us kept one a piece for our
collections, & Rene & partners got three to keep & we sold some at the show.
I found these so have the scoop.
The people I got them from had no additional information I think they may
have picked them up at a yard sale. There were a little over 600 well worn
$5's. It was very frustrating trying to find a real nice one for each of
the four of us who bought these originally. These chips did however come
with old Hacienda dice. My thought is they were used for home use or maybe
charity games long after the Thunderbird discontinued them.
Now where are the inlaid T-Bird small keys, or even H - Molds we all need?
