Hi Archie.... I think i'm right on this one. The only reason they don't collect on all purchases made outside of this state is because its almost impossible to enforce. I'm just saying that I wouldn't go around advertising it especially if a large amount of money is involved.... Here's a scenario while in Vegas you buy a new car but you don't register it. You have it shipped to NJ. The day you show up at the NJ DMV you have to produce a document to show that sales tax has been paid. If it wasn't, pony up the money. This is an area where you get involved with the State directly and they will collect their pound of flesh.
