I was invited to attend the Board meeting to give a report on the Convention. If you had been there you would know that the officers discussed the issue and are very much in favor of the Club acquiring manufacturer records. The problem is that they hear such and such records are available but no one has told one officer that Joe Blow has the "x" records and he will sell them for $X. All the board has heard is rumors.

You comment that they don't want the records because of their own interests is ridiculous and based only on your uninformed opinion and not on fact! If you know of some records that are for sale tell the world the SPECIFICS right here on the this board and see what action the Board takes.
